In the best tradition that has always distinguished the Scuderie made by gentlemen drivers, just like Elio Zagato in the 1950s, the 51st Zagato Car Club International Gathering was held last weekend in Turin. Fifty cars from 11 different countries, including Australia and New Zealand, represented the history of Zagato across six brands-Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Fiat-Abarth, Lancia, Maserati and Porsche. It was an exciting three days, which began with a visit to the Iso-Avventura exhibition at MAUTO, continued from the Lingotto to the Heritage HUB and the beautiful locations of the Reggia di Venaria and Villa Rey, and ended with some regularity trials at the FCA Research Center in Orbassano. A demonstration of passion for the Zagato brand, now in its 104th year of history and continuing to amaze with its creations.
