VILLA D’ESTE: ALFA ROMEO 8C DOPPIACODA ZAGATO WINNER OF DESIGN AWARD

On the occasion of the prestigious Concorso D’Eleganza Villa D’Este 2025, the Alfa Romeo 8C DoppiaCoda Zagato was first revealed in world premiere, winning the Design Award for Concept Cars & Prototypes. The synergy with a visionary Italian collector resulted in the creation of this milestone, entirely designed and built in-house by Zagato, based on the mechanical platform of the 8C Competizione. Through historical homage and visionary concept, this new project adds a missing link to Zagato’s modern interpretations of the most legendary Alfa Romeo models. Beyond reaffirming Zagato’s authorship of the short-wheelbase or “Monza” 8C bodywork, this new creation fuses two of the Milanese Atelier’s most distinctive design codes:  the Kamm-tail (Coda Tronca) and the rounded tail (Coda Tonda) merge into a new character-defining rear-end design that captured the public’s acclaim. The 8C DoppiaCoda Zagato is a true triumph for two legendary Milanese brands - Alfa Romeo and Zagato - who once again confirm their role as ambassadors of the Made in Italy excellence in the world. After the award of the 2010 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa Zagato, the two brands succeed again on the podium at the prestigious Concorso D’Eleganza Villa D’Este 2025.
