Zagato and Scuderia Sports joined forces to take part in the 2025 Targa Florio Classica, fielding a remarkable lineup of seven Lancia Fulvia Zagato cars in both 1.3 and 1.6 versions. A spectacular presence, highlighted by Andrea Zagato and Marella Rivolta Zagato driving a red Lancia Fulvia Sport, celebrating automotive history and paying tribute to the spirit of the celebre cursa siciliana, the oldest race in the world, where Fulvia models with Zagato bodywork were true protagonists, triumphing in their category in ’68, ’69, and again in 1971. Before joining the official start in Palermo, the participating drivers enjoyed an immersive journey through Sicily, practicing on the island’s winding roads and discovering the breathtaking scenery and rich culture of the Val di Noto. This experience offered the perfect prelude to the competition, reviving the atmosphere of an era when racing was defined by a profound connection between man, machine, and the surrounding landscape.
