As a superlative showcase of automotive history, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is home to the best looking and most valuable cars in the world: in 2021, 230 collector models paraded through the competition field. The race for Best of Show featured Jonathan & Wendy Segal’s 1956 Maserati A6G Zagato Coupé, which stunned all visitors and got two trophies: it ranked first in Class 0-2: Postwar Sports and stood on top of Strother Macminn Most Elegant Sports Car prize list. Aside from this prestigious trophies, Zagato also collected a third trophy at the Monterey Car Week as the Atelier’s tribute to ISO Rivolta brand, the GTZ granturismo, won The Quail’s Cars of Curiosity award in its first American outing after the unveiling. To mark the premiere, Michael Odierna’s GT Zagato rolled down fancy Californian boulevards alongside the ISO A3 Sanction II/Millechiodi.
