MILLE MIGLIA

Zagato models, which have been protagonists in motorsport since the ‘20s, when the Mille Miglia was a fast and demanding race, are still reaping successes today, when the competition celebrates its 90th birthday. On the podium, two Zagato cars: first, Vesco-Guerini in the 1931 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS Zagato. Third, Mozzi-Biacca in the 1933 Alfa Romeo 6C 1500 GS Zagato Testafissa. Other significant results: Maria and Luigia Gaburri in the 1957 Abarth 750 GT Zagato were awarded the Coppa delle Dame, while Axel Marx-Paolo Di Taranto in a 6C 1750 GS Brianza Tipo Zagato won a prize for having finished within the top 40. This year, Scuderia Sports Zagato Chopard obtained yet again very good results with a group of 20 gentlemen drivers, thanks to the support of the Swiss watchmaking Maison, sponsor of the event since 1988.
