After the Kyoto contest (Japan) and the Mille Miglia (Italy), the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance (NY) in the US is the third event of the celebrations for the Zagato Centenary. Almost 30 Zagato-bodied collectors’ cars, historic and contemporary, were evaluated by an international jury and by the participants in the charity events. These are the results. Best of Show: Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Corto Sport Zagato (1933) belonging to Peter Sachs; Best of Public: Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ (1963) owned by Larry Auriana. Three the awards for the Zagato Cento class: Prewar to Alfa Romeo 6C 1500 Testa Fissa Zagato (1930); Postwar to Jaguar XJ140 GTZ (1956); Contemporary to Aston Martin Vanquish Shooting Brake Zagato (2018). During the two-day event and on Saturday night, at the gala dinner, the Zagato family and the Zagato Ambassadors Charles Danziger and Hiroshi Okubo met the numerous collectors of North America present.
