Zagato returns to the Croatia Concours d’Elegance with another Best in Show, marking the second consecutive year in which a Porsche handcrafted by Zagato has received the recognition. Following the Porsche 356 Carrera GTL Zagato, awarded Best in Show in 2025, this year the prestigious accolade was presented to the Porsche 356 Coupé Zagato. Both cars were recreated through the Sanction Lost programme. For this year’s edition, Zagato brought together four distinctive expressions of its design philosophy: the unmistakable Mostro Coupè, a tribute to the legendary 1957 Maserati 450 S Zagato (“The Monster”); the 599 GTZ Nibbio, Zagato’s eighth tribute to the legendary Enzo Ferrari; the Aston Martin Vanquish Speedster, an open-top expression of the celebrated Vanquish Zagato family; and the Porsche 356 Carrera Zagato Coupé, recreated from a 1959 Zagato Archive© drawing. Presented against the unique setting of the island of Lussinpiccolo, a timeless destination historically associated with European aristocracy, the selection celebrated Zagato’s distinctive approach to automotive design for the world’s most prestigious marques. The Concours also marked Andrea and Marella Zagato’s first personal attendance at the event, continuing the Atelier’s connection with Croatia, which began in 2025.
