HAMPTON COURT

In the beautiful gardens of Hampton Court Palace, a former royal abode in the London borough of Richmond, once home to various kings, like Henry VIII and George II, the Aston Martin Owners Club (AMOC) hosted a legendary display, never seen before, of 19 different Aston Zagato models. They ranged from the 1960 DB4 GTZ to the complete Vanquish family, including the 1995 V8 Vantage Twin, the 2002 DB7 Twin, the 2004 Vanquish Roadster, 2012 Vantage V12 Corsa and Stradale and the 2013 Aston Martin DB9 Volante and Virage Centennial. Prince Michael of Kent, patron of the Concours, in his speech at the gala dinner at Windsor Castle, mentioned Zagato’s Centenary and spent words of admiration for the cars born of one of the most creative partnerships in the automotive history.
