ARIZONA CONCOURS

Zagato was ‘featured brand’ at the third annual Arizona Concours d’Elegance held in Scottsdale. The protagonists of the show were some of the historic models of the Milanese coachbuilder, gathered in a class of their own called Coachwork of Zagato: a 1957 Jaguar XK 140 Zagato, a 1949 Fiat Topolino 750 MM Panoramica, a 1955 Alfa Romeo 1900 SSZ, a 1962 Lancia Flaminia Sport 2.8 3C, a 1931 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Tourer Le Mans, a 1957 Fiat Abarth 750 GT Coupé Zagato, a 1956 Ferrari 250, the 1958 AC Ace Bristol Zagato, a 1965 Alfa Romeo TZ and a 1966 Alfa Romeo 2600 SZ. David Sydorick’s 1956 Ferrari 250 GTZ won the Zagato class, but the small Fiat Topolino with Panoramica body was judged as the ‘Most Elegant’ car in the Post-War category.
