The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance celebrated its 20th anniversary. This year, the Milanese Atelier was well represented with eight cars on show: the 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Zagato Mille Miglia Spider, the 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Zagato Spider, the 1954 Fiat 8V Elaborata Zagato, the 1956 Maserati A6G/ 2000 Zagato, the 1959 Lancia Flaminia Sport Zagato, the 1960 Aston Martin DB4GTZ, the 1962 Alfa Romeo SZ Coda Tronca and the 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ Coda Tonda. The Zagato cars were listed in the 38 classes of the contest, along with a variety of more than 300 other collector cars. No less than 46 class awards were handed out, but only two cars are deemed eligible to take home a Best in Show prize, one for Elegance and one for Sport.
