1000MIGLIA

The legendary 1000 Miglia race once again brought automotive enthusiasts to the scenic routes of Italy. This year's event featured the start of the collaboration between JP Morgan and Zagato, offering participants an immersive experience in the Paddock at Brixia Forum through two state-of-the-art driving simulators Elio Z by Roarington. These Classic Cars simulators allowed attendees to virtually Compete with a Leader board and a special prize giving according to the best performances. The excitement continued into the evening with a private dinner at the wonderful Ca' Del Bosco winery in Franciacorta, where a stunning display of Zagato cars captivated the guests, including lost race-icons like the 1949 Ferrari 166 Panoramica Millemiglia and the Porsche Carrera GTL Zagato “0”. Adding to the pre-race excitement, Scuderia Sports organized warm-up sessions at the Porsche Experience Center in Franciacorta, providing participants with an opportunity to fine-tune their skills and prepare for the grueling race ahead. The 1000 Miglia race itself followed a breathtaking itinerary, starting from Brescia and passing through Turin, Viareggio, Rome, and San Lazzaro di Savena, before returning to Brescia for the grand finale. This edition featured many Zagato cars, along with some post-war icons like the FIAT 8VZ, Alfa Romeo 1900SSZ, and Abarth 750Z. The race concluded with a spectacular podium finish dominated by Zagato cars: for the fourth consecutive year, the team of Andrea Vesco and Fabio Salvinelli clinched victory in their 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS Spider Zagato. Third place was secured by the duo of Alberto Aliverti and Stefano Valente, also driving a 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C Zagato.
