The Alfa Romeo 8C DoppiaCoda Zagato made its world debut winning the Design Award for Concept Cars & Prototypes at the 2025 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este! Created as a one-off model in collaboration with a visionary Italian collector from Milano, this milestone project was entirely designed and built in-house by Zagato starting from the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione and fulfilling this missing link in the lineage of Zagato’s contemporary Alfa Romeo interpretations. Reaffirming Zagato’s authorship of the short-wheelbase “Monza” 8C body, the 8C DoppiaCoda merges two iconic design codes, the Kamm-tail (Coda Tronca) and the rounded tail (Coda Tonda), into a distinctive rear design that captivated the Public and Collectors worldwide.
